In an industry known for visuals, Tapobhumi has introduced something India’s ethnicwear segment has never heard before: sound.
As we prepare to unveil our most ambitious collection yet at the upcoming Bharat Ethnic Expo 2025 (BEE 2025), we’ve launched a six-volume original music album titled “The Maestro Edit.” This musical album is Tapobhumi’s intent, emotion, and evolution, put to rhythm.
And while the industry prepares for exhibition season, we’re already setting the tone and tempo.
The six songs aka ‘Volumes’ is Tapobhumi’s Exhibit Special music album, created in-house as a musical declaration of our BEE 2025 showcase. It captures the unseen energy behind every collection. Our long hours, precision, faith and the scale.
Released exclusively for internal partners, this original album is the first music drop by any Indian fashion brand ahead of a trade show. With no words, it says everything we need it to.
Each volume sings to you about the collections we will present at Stall No. 20 at The Leela, Gandhinagar. And at the centre of it all is Tana Bana.
Tapobhumi has never conformed to the conventional. Because our work reflects one guiding belief: impact must outlast impression.
This album stands as an archive of the silent work behind what’s about to be shown.
Bharat Ethnic Expo 2025 is beyond an event; it is the battleground of foresight.
Tapobhumi needed a way to anchor its voice, without revealing visuals, catalogues, or collection content ahead of time. Music became that medium.
“We were working on our collections since the past season itself. We were prepared 35-days ago, we had some time on our hands for the promotion and so, we invested some time in brainstorming and sparing no expense, curated this album. And it’s great to say that this album released some of our steam. The Maestro Edit is our way of saying: We’ve been preparing. And we’re arriving ready.”
Each track in The Maestro Edit corresponds with a facet of Tana Bana’s upcoming showcase at BEE 2025:
Tapobhumi will be showcasing at Stall No. 20 at BEE 2025, and Tana Bana is our flagship presentation.
The entire collection is unreleased. It will not be shown on social media. It will only be printed for select-view catalogues. It has been created for serious buyers only, those who understand the internal struggle and external extravagance behind every piece shown.
To support that spirit, The Maestro Edit was created as the brand’s pre-launch journal in sound. It is not a playlist—it’s a preparation mindset. A way for our internal teams and select partners to remember:
This is not just another event. This is Tapobhumi’s declaration.
Following overwhelming advance interest from buyers, Tapobhumi released three bonus tracks from The Maestro Edit on July 17 as a gesture of gratitude. These tracks extend the sonic story, touching upon themes like movement, mastery, and moment.
The launch was kept private, with internal distribution to showrooms, buyers, and industry peers.
And the response?
Exactly what we were aiming for.
If you’re attending Bharat Ethnic Expo 2025, mark your visit for:
The showcase will include couture sarees, categorised by intent-driven buckets for festivals, weddings and cocktail parties to deliver impact over two full seasons.
The future is no longer just visual. It’s emotional. Experiential. Strategic. Sound-driven.
And when the doors to BEE 2025 open, Stall 20 will amplify its purpose.
Designer sarees are an investment. At Tapobhumi, we bring this investment within your reach, offering designer-level sarees that are best in their respective segments.
Whether you’re looking for something traditional or modern, our sarees offer the perfect blend of artistry and personal preference.
And what are designer sarees if not pieces of wearable art?
